A musical extravaganza, not simply a concert. The Polyphonic Spree bursts forth with a sonic explosion of good vibrations, peace and love. Think one part Broadway musical, one part rock concert, mix in equal measures of a Pink Floyd rock opera and a symphonic production and you start to scratch the surface of the Spree. I saw them with my wife and a group of friends for the first time last night in Detroit at the Majestic Theatre. Buy an album, google them, watch them on You Tube....much like most in life, you have to experience it to appreciate it.
